When you contact a group, please put them down under Partners.
Outreach to Campus Groups

letter to sponsors2.doc

So what you need to do when you contact a club/organization:
0. Email Cate with your full name and what group you are contacting, we want to make sure we have only one person per group.
catec.cook@gmail.com
1. If you don't already know when they meet, email a representative or check on the Activities Information desk in the VU (emails on AS Club web page)
2. Email a rep for the club and find out when you can come to their meeting (preferably this week)
3. On the Wiki there is a Club/Organization Outreach Form that you can download. Fill in all 'parenthesis' ex: (club/organization) (xyz) with the name of the club or organization that you are going to talk with. make sure it all makes sense after typing in the club name. You can also write the name in by hand to make it more personal if you want!
4. Go to club meeting explain who we are, and get their endorsement!!!
a. We want to know how many people are in their club
b. If they do want to endorse us, do they want to be on our shirts
c. mention the food conference, do they want to sponsor it or be a part?
d. The form must be signed, a verbal 'okay' won't suffice
e. Have each club and member join our facebook group and invite their friends! +stress how, if they support us, we need all the support we can, we're moving a mountain
5. If they are unsure, or don't want to, ask what we can do to get their endorsement/support!
6. Add all info that you have collected to the WIKI!!!! under Partners
7. Italicize their name below.

Presentation

We want to have a faculty/student informational meeting which will be a presentation followed by a question and answer session. This meeting is important because it will help us build support and involving the Western community. We want to know what Western wants in a co-op.
